Overview

To protect organizational information systems and data by implementing and maintaining security controls, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, responding to security incidents, and developing standardized security processes that ensure integrated, coordinated, and effective cybersecurity operations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain technical, administrative, and physical security controls.

  • Perform continuous monitoring of information systems to identify vulnerabilities and threats.

  • Prevent, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.

  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and operational systems.

  • Evaluate system architectures and configurations for compliance with security standards.

  • Develop and standardize security processes and procedures to ensure organizational alignment.

  • Generate and deliver clear, actionable security reports and status updates to leadership.

  • Analyze and evaluate proposed IT security initiatives and recommend improvements.

  • Coordinate security efforts across departments to ensure integrated program execution.

  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory and policy requirements

  • Lead security projects and provide guidance to junior analysts.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience.

Education

Requires BS/BA in appropriate field (or equivalent).
