Overview

The Technical Lead provides advanced technical leadership and subject matter expertise across IT product and service initiatives. This role oversees technical work product quality, ensures compliance with industry and federal standards, and supports the full lifecycle of system development from requirements definition through implementation. The position applies deep technical knowledge to resolve complex challenges and guide successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across assigned projects.
• Review work products for correctness and compliance with industry standards, federal legislative and regulatory requirements, and user specifications.
• Develop IT product and service requirements, including specifications, feasibility studies, and requirements analyses.
• Support projects from inception through implementation, across simple to complex initiatives.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to analysis, collection, assessment, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation activities.
• Resolve complex technical problems requiring in-depth subject matter expertise.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet performance, quality, and compliance standards.
• Provide guidance to project teams on technical approaches and best practices.
• Support integration efforts and system validation activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Approximately eight (8) years of experience in a related technical field.
• Demonstrated expertise in system analysis, design, and implementation.
• Experience reviewing technical deliverables for compliance and quality.
• Knowledge of industry standards and applicable federal regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead technical efforts across complex initiatives.
• Related industry certifications preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in a related field required;
OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
