Overview

The Business Analyst II provides professional expertise in business process analysis, system design, and organizational improvement initiatives. This role supports the translation of business needs into technical requirements and assists with implementation, change management, and strategic planning efforts across technical and functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and support system design initiatives.

  • Translate business process requirements into technical specifications.

  • Support implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Provide expertise in change management activities, including stakeholder engagement and training support.

  • Contribute to organizational and strategic planning efforts across technical and operational environments.

  • Support Configuration Management and Knowledge Management initiatives.

  • Perform business and technical analysis to align operational needs with system capabilities.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, program managers, and functional stakeholders.

  • Document business requirements, process flows, and system functionality.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.

  • Support evaluation of system performance and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Approximately four (4) or more years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience translating business needs into technical requirements.

  • Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies.

  • Experience supporting change management and training initiatives.

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and Knowledge Management principles preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams.

  • Proficiency in documentation and process modeling tools preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Business, Information Systems, Management, Engineering, or related field required;
OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
