The Administrative Officer provides professional-level administrative and program management support by developing, implementing, and evaluating administrative policies and procedures. This role serves as an advisor to management on personnel administration, manpower planning, travel, training, performance management, and related programmatic functions. The Administrative Officer ensures organizational operations align with established policies, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives.

Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of administrative policies and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility.
Review, analyze, and interpret organizational directives, regulations, and policy guidance.
Recommend improvements and develop administrative procedures for organization-wide implementation.
Provide advisory support to management on manpower planning, personnel management, travel administration, training coordination, performance appraisals, awards programs, surveys, and special studies.
Monitor and support training programs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Utilize knowledge of organizational resource management systems and program objectives to support efficient operations.
Conduct administrative reviews and assessments to identify operational gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities related to workforce and administrative functions.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, directives, and administrative best practices.
Coordinate across departments to facilitate consistent policy application and operational effectiveness.
Approximately six (6) years of experience in administrative management, program administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting administrative policies and directives.
Experience advising management on personnel, manpower, training, or administrative matters.
Knowledge of resource management systems and administrative regulatory frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, policy documentation, and recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field required;
OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
