The Human Resources Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to program offices by assisting with the coordination, tracking, and processing of personnel-related actions. This role supports workforce operations including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits tracking, documentation management, and related employee lifecycle activities. The position ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely processing of personnel actions, and high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders.

Assist program offices with tracking and processing personnel actions, including hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and other employee lifecycle activities.
Support the preparation and submission of personnel documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate tracking logs and databases to monitor the status of HR-related actions.
Provide administrative support for onboarding activities, training coordination, and employee presentations.
Document and update processes and standard operating procedures as needed.
Respond to employee and management inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
Support reporting activities related to workforce metrics and personnel actions.
Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience supporting personnel actions, administrative operations, or HR-related functions.
Experience processing or tracking personnel actions and documenting processes and procedures.
Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
