We are seeking experienced Electronic Security Technicians to install and configure Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, and Mass Notification Systems for a veteran-led GovTech company supporting government and military projects. Ardent Eagle Solutions (AES) is assisting a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned GovTech company in recruiting for Electronic Security Technician roles. Candidates hired for these positions will be employees of the client company, not AES, and will work on projects supporting government and military installations, including the installation of Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, and Mass Notification Systems.

Install and configure Automated Access Control Systems (AACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and CCTV systems in the new Police Office Building (P-009) at MCLB Blount Island, FL.
Relocate existing USMC Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Head End equipment from Building 104 to the new Police Office Building.
Upgrade CCTV systems from PELCO to Genetec, including hardware installation and software configuration.
Install new Mass Notification Systems (MNS), Base Station Server Suites, and MNS Control Station servers, including activation of new licenses.
Perform all installations and system configurations in accordance with USMC ESS Engineering Best Practices to ensure full operability.
Conduct physical tasks including cable pulling, device mounting, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
Work under daily supervision and task direction from HQE Systems’ Site Lead to meet project milestones and quality standards.
Ensure all installed systems meet government security and safety standards, including proper battery maintenance and software configuration.
3–4 years of practical experience installing AACS, IDS, CCTV, or similar electronic security systems.
Hands-on experience with cable routing, device mounting, system configuration, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
Knowledge of government or military security installation standards preferred.
Must be able to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools for daily work.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to pass a 50-state background check, and hold an active Secret clearance.
High School diploma or GED required.
Technical training in electronics, physical security, or related field preferred.
This is a temporary, hourly position expected to last approximately 45 days, with an anticipated start date of September 8, 2025. Work location is MCLB Blount Island, FL, with standard hours from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees in this role are hired directly by the client company and are not eligible for Ardent Eagle Solutions benefits, PTO, or other employee perks. Compensation will be hourly, based on experience.
