  • Use eDiscovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Microsoft Purview) to review and redact documents.

  • Contribute to FOIA backlog reduction and litigation support efforts.

  • Run and interpret reports from FOIA case management systems, and support statutory reporting (e.g., Annual and Quarterly FOIA Reports).

Privacy Program Support

  • Draft and review Privacy Act Statements and System of Records Notices (SORNs), ensuring compliance with 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(3) and OMB guidance.

  • Prepare and review privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and system authorization packages for systems processing personally identifiable information (PII).

  • Implement and assess privacy controls aligned with NIST SP 800-37 and SP 800-53.

  • Draft and maintain privacy notices, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Training, Oversight & Compliance

  • Develop and deliver privacy-related training across the Department.

  • Support audits and internal reviews of systems and programs that process PII.

  • Lead breach response coordination, including evaluating incident reports and participating in table-top exercises.

  • Assist with drafting privacy-related reports as required by FISMA or other federal mandates.

Leadership & Contract Management

  • Serve as the on-site team lead, supervising daily activities, assigning tasks, and ensuring alignment with contract deliverables and performance expectations.

  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, manage vendor deliverables, and maintain contract quality standards.

  • Recommend process improvements and submit written recommendations quarterly to support continual improvement goals.

  • Represent the contractor team in meetings and manage communication with all affected parties across technical, contractual, and administrative areas.
